Our team of physicians, engineers and clinicians brings accumulated knowledge, data and experience in the treatment and study of gastrointestinal and motility disorders.
Our goal is to transform healthcare with innovative, non-drug solutions. We aim to offer greater autonomy to patients suffering from gastrointestinal challenges, freeing them from the constraints, stress and uncertainty of traditional treatments while providing healthcare professionals with a reliable tool for improvement of treatment outcomes. As Vibrant continues to investigate disruptive innovation in the GI therapeutics market, we remain committed to ensuring the company’s products and production processes are both safe and environmentally friendly.
The company has undertaken several important clinical studies in order to identify the benefits of mechanically stimulating the colon as a mean to encourage the body’s natural digestive activities – this is a novel approach to the treatment of constipation. While studies are ongoing, the results to-date are promising.

Board of Directors
Yoav joined Sequoia Capital in 2011, focusing on healthcare and medical device companies in Israel. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital, Yoav worked with XTechnologies (Sold to Guidant), YMed ( Sold to CR Bard), Director at Endospan, Orasis Pharmaceuticals, G&G (Merged with Polytech) , Dario Health (Listed – DRIO). Yoav graduated from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and holds a BA in Biology.
Career entrepreneur Carey Smith founded Big Ass Fans in 1999, bootstrapping the fan and light maker to nearly $300 million in sales and more than a thousand employees. A distinguished veteran of the Israeli MedTech industry, Doron is known for his brilliant growth strategies, taking private entities to publicly traded companies, including Elron’s $350 million investment in medical devices with 13 exits valued at more than $600 million, and the sale of Given Imaging valued at $1 billion. He is currently an active chairperson for several technology companies. Doron has a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters Degree in Economics from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.

Dr. Eamonn Quigley M.D
VP of the American College of Gastroenterology and a past Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Gastroenterology; published over 500 articles and 6 books and monographs; received a variety of honors and awards from medical and gastroenterological societies and universities throughout the world.
Dr. Satish Rao M.D
Dr. Rao is a Digestive Health Expert, and helped launch the Augusta University Digestive Health Center. He is one of a rare breed of academics who has excelled as an outstanding researcher, distinguished educator and as a Master Clinician. Dr. Rao’s research focuses on the pathophysiology and treatment of IBS, constipation and fecal incontinence and visceral pain, particularly esophageal chest pain.
Dr. Anthony J. Lembo M.D
Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Gastrenterologist in practice for more than 20 years, Dr Lembo’s area of work focuses on motility disorders, IBS, swallowing issues, endoscopy, colon cancer screening and GERD. Dr. Lembo collaborates with several hospitals in Boston including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and is a member of both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine (Gastroenterology).
Dr. William Chey M.D
Professor of Gastroenterology Michigan Medicine Ann Arbor. Research focus on the diagnosis & treatment of functional bowel disorders and H. pylori infection. He is a medical innovator and holds several patents. Former co-Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Gastroenterology and has authored more than 350 manuscripts.
Global Clinical Development Advisor; 28 years of Industrial experience in Teva in R&D; in charge of the clinical development strategy and implementation of new methodologies; director of several associations for patient welfare; serves on the Board of Directors of Israeli-based biotech companies.
