How Vibrant works, who it's for, and what the evidence shows
Vibrant is an FDA-cleared, drug-free, state-of-the-art treatment for adults with chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC).
Laxatives and many prescription medications work by flooding the colon to move its contents through — which can result in unpleasant and unpredictable diarrhea.
Vibrant works differently, sending out micro-vibrations as it passes through your colon. These signals prompt the colon to move its contents through naturally, resulting in more frequent, predictable, and complete spontaneous bowel movements.
In clinical trials, Vibrant started working within 1 week, and most patients had significant improvement by week 3, continuing throughout the study period.1
In clinical studies, some patients felt constipation relief within the first week, and relief continued throughout the study period.1
In real-world use, many patients reported improvements maintained for up to 6 months.2 Individual results may vary.
Vibrant is for adults with chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC) when prescribed by a healthcare provider. It's intended for people who haven't had relief after laxative therapy at the recommended dosage for at least one month.
CIC is a long-lasting form of constipation with no clearly identifiable cause, based on your symptoms and medical evaluation.
Vibrant should not be used if you have any of the following conditions:
- History of complicated/obstructive diverticular disease
- History of intestinal or colonic obstruction, or suspected intestinal obstruction
- Clinical evidence of current and significant gastroparesis
- History of significant gastrointestinal disorder, including any form of inflammatory bowel disease or gastrointestinal malignancy (celiac disease is excepted if treated and in remission), and/or anal fissures and fistulas
- History of Zenker's diverticulum, dysphagia, esophageal stricture, eosinophilic esophagitis, or achalasia
- Women who are pregnant or lactating
Yes. Vibrant has been evaluated in 6 multicenter clinical trials involving nearly 800 adults with chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC).
In the Phase 3 study (312 patients), Vibrant significantly improved bowel movement frequency, reduced straining, improved stool consistency, and improved quality of life compared with placebo.1
Real-world data from over 2,000 patients showed similar improvements in bowel symptoms and quality of life.2

Most people don't feel the vibrations. About 1 in 9 participants in clinical studies reported they thought they could feel a vibration.1
The capsule is naturally passed during a bowel movement. You'll receive 20 capsules per month (recommended dose is 5 per week).
Getting Started
Prescriptions, delivery, setup, and using your Pod
Vibrant is available by prescription only. Ask your healthcare provider if Vibrant is right for you. Once prescribed, you'll be contacted by EVERSANA Life Science Services to arrange delivery directly to your home.
Yes. Making Vibrant available only by prescription helps ensure it is used in the right situations and at the direction of your healthcare provider. This is common for treatments for chronic idiopathic constipation.
Once a healthcare provider prescribes Vibrant, the prescription is sent to EVERSANA Life Science Services, a specialty pharmacy. EVERSANA will contact you to gather any additional information needed and set up delivery to your home.
You'll receive a Vibrant starter kit containing a multi-use activation pod, one month's supply of disposable capsules, and instructions to download the companion app.
Vibrant Capsules are about the size of standard vitamin capsules commonly used in the U.S.
Yes. If you do not activate the Capsule by placing it in the Pod, it won't work properly. You will know the Capsule is activated when the green light on the Pod lights up. Once it does, you can take the Capsule with a glass of water.
Reset the Pod by unplugging the AC/DC adaptor from the wall power outlet and plugging it back in after a few seconds.
Yes. The Pod is designed to remain plugged in and maintain an active connection to the Vibrant Cloud. This connection is initiated by the Pod using a valid security certificate and requires no action from you.
The Vibrant Pod is warranted for 3 years against defects in materials and workmanship, provided it is used according to instructions.
- Damage from modifications or unauthorized repairs voids the warranty.
- Use of non-Vibrant capsules, improper storage, or physical abuse voids coverage.
- Warranty is personal to the original user and non-transferable.
We accept Vibrant Pod or Capsule returns only after obtaining prior written or email return authorization.
Returns and refunds (net of insurance contribution) are authorized only when:
- The product does not meet our warranty terms.
- The product is damaged or defective at receipt, provided you notify us within 1 week of delivery.
- A shipping error occurs by Vibrant Gastro — in which case, Vibrant Gastro covers all return shipping costs.
Defective capsule refunds are prorated and issued after the returned capsule is received and inspected.
Account & Data
Managing your patient profile and data deletion requests
To request deletion of your account and/or associated data, please follow these steps:
- Initiating Contact: Contact Vibrant Support via the hotline or email to begin the process.
- Verification of Identity: Provide your name, date of birth, and other necessary information to verify your identity.
- Request for Profile Deletion: Once verified, clearly request deletion of your patient profile from the Vibrant system.
- Confirmation: Vibrant Support will confirm receipt and provide an estimated completion timeframe of 45 days.
- Deletion: All identifying patient information will be deleted from the Vibrant database to ensure complete anonymity.
- Irreversibility: Once deleted, it is impossible to trace any prior presence within the system.
- App Access Terminated: Your access to the Vibrant Companion app will be terminated and login will no longer be possible.
- Completion Notice: Vibrant Support will notify you once deletion is finalized. Note: pharmacy database information is not included in this process.
